About Me

I'm Parris Adams, a qualified Maths Teacher who has worked in both mainstream and SEND-based provisions in the UK and now working independently as a Tutor. I started Confidence with Equations because of seeing firsthand how easily all students can lose confidence in Maths at any level and how much that negatively affects their learning and their relationship with education.My approach to teaching is calm, patient and focused on helping all students feel confident with numbers and equations. I work with each student to help them understand how they think, how to break down tricky topics, and how to build positive learning habits, that make maths feel less overwhelming.Whether catching up, pushing forward, or striving to the top, my goal is simple: to help all students feel capable at maths, one session at a time.
